BAKED LEMON CHICKEN – A Holiday Favorite From Jay T Toles

We would like to thank Jay T Toles for sharing one of his favorite holiday recipes with us – Baked Lemon Chicken. Sounds delicious! Don’t hesitate to reach out to him if you have any questions on how to prepare the dish.

Please send us your own favorite Thanksgiving or Holiday recipe so that we can get them published in our STYX Holiday Cookbook. You can add your recipe by going to the Send Us Your Recipe tab on the STYX website, or by giving a copy of the recipe to Ops or HR at morning startup.

Baked Lemon Chicken, – Jay T Toles

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, or quartered
1 chopped onion
1-2 chopped bell peppers
1-2 chopped garlic cloves
1-2 chopped and sliced lemons
garlic salt
black pepper
*Any additional seasoning that you see fit

Preparation:
Rinse and clean the chicken, then place into a large oven pan. Fill the pan with water until surrounding the entire chicken. Then add all your seasoning and chopped vegetables (onion, garlic, bell pepper, lemon).

Use a wooden spoon to thoroughly mix the seasoning and vegetables in with the chicken. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and then place in oven set to 350 degrees. Cook for 90-120 minutes (1 1/2 to 2 hours), depending on the strength of your oven.

Remove from oven, let cool, and enjoy!
